The new event takes place next March.

A Festival Called PANAMA is a brand new festival taking place in the forests of North-Eastern Tasmania, an event that will look to further cement the state as one of the fastest rising areas for cultural tourism and an event that looks to put on some killer shows.

The first of these festivals is taking place in March next year and today the organisers have announced the first three acts who will be a part of the bill.

On the list so far is the Screaming Eagle of Soul Charles Bradley, one of the great Daptone Records finest artists, lush Aussie world beaters Husky, who have been busy for most of the year working on the follow up to their excellent Forever So and Geelong reprobates The Frowning Clouds, a garage band who have a knack for replicating classic rock'n'roll sounds like just about no one else in this country.

The intimate event is taking place on Saturday 8 March and Sunday 9, 2014. Tickets are very limited and will be on sale from Sunday 1 December.
