The network launch brand new weekly genre themed shows
Music network Channel [V] have announced a massive revamp this year with the introduction of five new shows due to commence from Monday 21 Apr.
Rebecca Batties, Foxtel General Manager for Music and Head of Digital said, “Our audience love all kinds of music and now Channel [V] is bringing dedicated shows to curate some of the best music from around the world from the Indie, Pop, Rock, Urban and Dance scenes.
It all starts on Monday 21 Apr from 9pm with the aptly named show Indie which focuses on the latest and classic indie tunes from around the globe.
Tuesday nights will be a go to for mainstream music lovers with Popped; if its topping the radio charts, expect to see it on this show.

The Used frontman Bert McCracken will kick off his full time commitments to the station after joining earlier this year with his own show The Revolution with Bert McCracken.
The weekly one hour show will talk all things rock and hardcore with insights and special guest interviews conducted by the punk singer himself every Wednesday night.
Urban based show The Connect will make its debut on Thursdays and will look at the best past, present and up and coming talent from the world of rnb, rap, hip-hop and soul.
And finally, Friday nights will be sure to get viewers in the partying mood with The Big Mix featuring Messed Up with Generik.
Channel [V]’s new EDM and dance expert will hit the decks in this ad free show and will even battle fellow DJ’s to ring in the weekend in style.
