The list of finalists for the music channel's presenter search has been announced!

The finalists for Channel [V]'s presenter search have been announced today, and the list includes something of a famous name. George Negus' son, Serge Negus, has made the cut and will now join the other 19 finalists in an online poll on the TV channel's website.

The station received 6,000 entries, which they say make this year's search the biggest to date. 200 were shortlisted before the finalists were selected.

The top 20, which include a wild card entry from auditions held at Groovin The Moo festivals around the country, will head to Sydney to be 'put through their paces', before the top four are announced Saturday 16 June.

One of the top four spots will be decided by viewer vote, which you can do here.
