Due to incredible demand and a quickly sold-out show, Chaka Khan will play for a second night at the iconic Sydney Opera House.
The American singer, already heading to Australia to perform at this year’s Bluesfest, is celebrating 50 extraordinary years of music.
Celebrating her career, Chaka Khan will perform at The Civic, Auckland, on Wednesday, 16 April, before journeying to Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on Friday, 18 April, Bluesfest Byron Bay on Easter Sunday (Sunday, 20 April), and two nights at the Sydney Opera House – Tuesday, 22 April (sold out) and the newly announced Wednesday, 23 April.
Mastercard cardholders can access pre-sale tickets today at 11 am local time via the Priceless website. Live Nation, ticket agent and venue pre-sale tickets will be available from 12 pm local time tomorrow. The general sale will begin on Thursday, 13 March, at 12 pm local time. While Chaka Khan last performed in Australia at the Melbourne International Jazz Festival in 2023, her last tour Down Under was in 2014.
In 2023, Chaka Khan was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Beyond the studio and recording a multitude of hits, she’s taken to the Broadway and London’s West End stages, showcasing her incredible versatility.

She also leads the Chaka Khan Foundation, which is committed to mental health advocacy and education. In addition to her countless musical accolades, Chaka Khan has received an honorary doctorate from the Berklee College of Music.
