Cat Power To Play Golden Plains

The seventh annual Golden Plains festival is all set to go down once again at the majestic Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre next March and this morning the festival announce their first act and open up the ballot so you keen cats can make sure you're in the running for a ticket.

The first act announced for Golden Plains 2013 is none other than Cat Power, the treasured chanteuse will hit the Meredith venue with her all new band on the Saturday evening right around sunset – a much coveted spot indeed. She has recently released an excellent new album in Sun and given she is so well-liked in our country it makes sense that she waste little time in returning to play these new songs for us.

The ballot is open now, head to the Golden Plains website to be in with a chance of securing the opportunity to be a part of this event which is always very, very special indeed. It happens from Saturday 9 March through to Monday 11.
