Congrats are in order again for 'Dumb Ways To Die'
Viral hit Dumb Ways To Die has scooped up some more awards, with news that the safety campaign for Melbourne's Metro Trains has won two of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity Grand Prix accolades.
The campaign, concept of McCann Melbourne advertising, was accompanied by the song Set Fire To Your Hair, penned by The Cat Empire's Ollie MGill and sung by Tinpan Orange's Emily Lubitz. It picked up the gongs in the Direct Lions and PR Lions Grand Prix categories.
The viral sensation is also on the shortlist for several other categories, in which the winners will be unveiled over the coming days.
Dumb Ways To Die recently won big at the Commercial Radio Awards, scoring the Golden Siren gong as well as two other accolades. The clip is almost at 50 million YouTube views.
