The Association Of Artists Managers has announced its new board members, with Catherine Haridy re-elected as the Association's Chairperson.
Kim Thomas (The Whitlams) Gregg Donovan (Grinspoon, Boy & Bear) and Heath Bradby (Karnivool, Drapht) have stepped down from the board, with Greg Carey of Umbrella Music (The Rubens, Urthboy), Claire Collins from (Bossy Music – YesYou, Art vs Science) and Mucho Bravado's Ben Preece (Ball Park Music, Hungry Kids Of Hungary) all joining in their place.
Existing board members include Bill Cullen (Paul Kelly), Briese Abbott (PVT), Denny Burgess (A Red Letter Day), Buzz Bidstrup (Jimmy Little), Tom Harris (White Sky) and Cath Haridy (Eskimo Joe).
Haridy today thanked the departing board members, saying, “We are grateful for their outstanding contribution to establishing the AAM as the peak body for artist management. This year we're lucky to welcome three young, active and high profile managers who'll bring the AAM into its next phase of industry development.”
The Association said that in 2013 it will be looking to launch a 'Patron's program' to acknowledge the involvement of post board members.
