For the first September event at everyone's favourite Melbourne tunnel system, the CANT SAY team have gone and grabbed a dear friend and party legend for a comeback headline set. That's right, say hello, once again, to TRANTER.
To put it in their own words "The man, the myth, the legend that is TRANTER is back, for one night only, for an exclusive two hour throwback set of vintage TRANTER madness." And you heard that right, not only will this be the big man's (literally) comeback - he'll also be providing a huuuge EXCLUSIVE two hour throwback set. Now, considering that this guy has been a purveyor of fine dance tunes for most of the last decade, you know you'll be in for a treat.
Although he had retired the alias back in late 2012, he was recently announced on the huge Meredith bill this year... as Tranter. He released the following statement regarding his comeback...
"This time last year i "retired" djing. But i really kept playing under the alias Carlos Turner, hosting a radio show on Triple R called Hood Pass with a couple of my best friends and focusing on becoming a hip hop DJ. The reasons I quit being Tranter are not relevant to me now, and when Meredith asks you to DJ, you don't say no. So as of Meredith Music Festival I'm back as Tranter. Xoxo"
So let us all rejoice, because on September 6th, Tranter is back in his finest form, ripping out huge party tunes back to back. In the hope that his throwbacks will take you back to Kevin 07 (#auspolreferencelol).
