For the last 10 months, MISS LIBERTINE has played home to your weekly dose of Friday night debauchery. It’s been a journey that has seen some 20,000+ patrons through our doors, over half a million drinks in the making, countless questionable antics, late night dancing, and early morning hook-ups… some of which we’d rather forget. All that we know that since we started, your Saturday mornings have never been the same. ‘What the fuck happened?’ you might ask yourself. Simple - CANT SAY!

Unfortunately, all good things do come to an end, and our weekly Friday watering-hole is sadly closing it’s door. It’s a shame to see the death of yet another iconic Live music venue in Melbourne, and we’d be lying if we said we didn’t shed a tear when we were first delivered the heart-breaking news.

To the people who made Fridays at MISS LIBERTINE’S what it was (and you should all know who you are) we say thank you. We can safely say that our humble little club would be nothing without your constant efforts, advice, and willingness to work with us on a weekly basis. The bar staff, security, door staff, bussies, managers and owners alike who made it all happen – we offer you our ongoing thanks and wish you every success in your future endeavours.

But don’t worry my darlings! They say that with every door that closes, a new one opens, and it is with great pleasure that we can reveal to you that this will not be the end of the road for CANT SAY, merely the beginning of a new journey.

We will be taking our Friday Night to our brand new venue on the 23rd of March, and the same party that you have all come to know and love over the last 10 months will be continuing, uninterrupted – stay tuned for more details to come shortly!

However, to say goodbye to MISS LIBERTINE we decided it was only appropriate to go out on a high note. We’ve decided to throw the biggest, baddest and bossest party we could possibly think of. We decided to take a bunch of our favourite acts that we’ve hosted over the last 10 months and mash it all up into one super-mega-awesome-radical-gigantoid-party. It’s the party to end all parties and bring in a new era of CANT SAY.

Gracing the decks will be half-man, half-machine disco king; HARRIS ROBOTIS. Some of you may remember this party we threw back in July last year which saw almost 600 people squeezed into MISS LIBERTINE. Needless to say, it was pretty fucking mental and we are super stoked to have him back. We’re also super happy to announce that he has just released a brand new single ‘HOT FOR YOU’ for all of you to feast your ears upon.

With a versatile range of genre’s that he seems to effortlessly glide between in just about every set, you never know exactly what you are going to get with HARRIS ROBOTIS which is half the appeal. All you know is that the end result usually is holes in the dancefloor and multiple eargasms for all that hear.

But wait, there’s more! One of our favourite party bands will be making their return to MISS LIBERTINE. You all remember that night back in November when THNKR played and we saw a line out the front that went all the way down to Elizabeth Street? Well the tight-knit 5 piece are making their return for one night only and we could not be any more excited to be hosting them again. Since their last show they’ve gone on to play sold out shows at The Toff, Workers Club and Northcote Social Club supporting New Navy. These kids certainly do bring the party!

Lastly, we have put on all your favourite DJ’s who are responsible for all of your dancefloor antics over the last 10 months. With AIRWOLF, SWICK, INDIAN SUMMER DJ’S, GLASS MIRRORS, JAMES FAVA, JASPER, PLAY, TRANTER and a shit load more, it’s the perfect way to say goodbye to our beloved MISS LIBERTINE.
