Can Wes Carr Do A Lisa Mitchell Or Matt Corby?

It seems a new name, a new sound and a new direction has re-energised Buffalo Tales, the Australian artist also known as singer songwriter Wes Carr.

The name may sound vaguely familiar to you; he's that guy from that singing show that was on TV a couple of years ago? Just like Matt Corby and Lisa Mitchell before him, Carr is doing his best to abandon his tag as 'that guy from that reality TV talent quest'.

Under the new persona Buffalo Tales, he has recorded a new album titled Roadtrip Confessions, set to be released on June 24.

The album features thirteen tracks which aspire to an intimate, indie vibe, more in line with Boy & Bear and Fleet Foxes than Guy Sebastian or Shannon Noll.
