The trio return with a funky new sound
Melbourne band Calling All Cars have been hidden away for a little while now, busy working on their upcoming third album. Now, the guys have re-emerged with a brand new track Werewolves and a run of show dates across the country.
The number is a definite departure from previous CAC material. Werewolves is a funky, guitar-heavy jam that oozes plenty of sex appeal. It was produced along with Steve Schram, whose previous collaborators include Little Birdy and Eagle And The Worm plus Tom Larkin, who has worked with Shihad, Bodyjar and The Getaway Plan. The track was also mixed by the Grammy-award winning Tchad Blake (Pearl Jam, The Black Keys and Peter Gabriel). Quite a diverse and impressive list of names we must say...
The trio will take the new track out on the road for a handful of headlining dates this October. They'll be supported by Canberra punks Super Best Friends and fellow Melburnians The Sinking Teeth. As it's been a while since we've heard from Calling All Cars, we're betting tickets for these shows will go fast, so get yours now! Check out theGuide for all the details.
