The Cake bar will also host an art competition and community radio broadcast
Art and culture-focused wine brand Cake will be running a pop-up bar next week to coincide with the Surry Hills Festival and host the final of their Archi-Bottle art prize.
Running from Thursday 25 to Saturday 27 October at the currently vacant Cleveland Street Theatre in Surry Hills, 199 Cleveland St, there will also be a live broadcast by community radio station FBi, which Cake wine sales donate to (25 cents per bottle), on Friday 26.
The Archi-Bottle exhibition on Thursday 25 will showcase the art competition entries, one of which will become the new label for Cake's latest Shiraz expression.
After the the Archi-Bottle, the bar will host an FBi Live Broadcast on Friday and be open Saturday for the Surry Hills Festival, which features performances from Tijuana Cartel, Alison Wonderland, Fire! Santa Rosa, Fire! amongst others. Entry is by donation, and you can get more festival details here.

In the past Cake, who also contribute sale proceeds to Brisbane's 4ZZZ community radio station, have held film nights and hosting emerging artists as part of their pop-up bar approach.

Thursday 25 October - Archi-Bottle Finals (6pm - Midnight)
Friday 26 October - FBi Live Broadcast (6pm - Midnight)
Saturday 27 November - Surry Hills Festival (12pm - Midnight)
