The band have two club shows set for their November visit.
Cake are one of the more enduring bands to have exploded in the mid-'90s alternative boom, going about things their own way, at their own pace and still managing to make things well and truly work in their favour. Their most recent record, 2011's Showroom Of Compassion debuted in the number one spot on the USA's Billboard Album Charts – a massive achievement for any band and a testament to the fanbase Cake have built up in their home country over the years.
But we know that Australians love Cake just as much, if not more, so we're ready to give them a huge big welcome back to our country when they play the Harvest festival this November, and punters in Sydney and Adelaide are able to get a little more intimate with the band as they play two special sideshows while they are in Australia.
You can witness Cake's classy live show at the following dates:
Tuesday 13 November – HQ, Adelaide
Thursday 15 November – The Metro, Sydney
