Now in it’s 5th year, the annual Byron Bay Hardcore Halloween event has continued to set the bar for hardcore and punk shows in the area. Displaying the most diverse line up the event has ever seen this looks to be the most exciting year yet.

Melbourne hardcore exports Carpathian will be headlining this years’ event. On the back of their recent release Wanderlust and a European summer tour, Carpathian will be heading north for the last time this year to play the show.


With a release in the works and some serious touring planned for the near future, locals Word Up! will return to the Halloween line up in 2010 to provide main support. Also on the bill are Brisbane heavyweights Against, who have just unleashed their latest effort Heathen and look to solidify themselves as one of Brisbane’s hardest working bands. Rounding out the line up are local metal force In Hearts Wake who will return from an extensive east coast run while emerging hardcore band Think Twice will be opening the event.
