"I needed to be involved."
Burgeoning New South Wales artist Budjerah has inked a deal with Paradigm Talent Agency.
The Music can exclusively reveal that the 18-year-old Fingal Head songwriter, who signed with Lemon Tree Music (Tones & I, Tash Sultana) just last November, will be represented by Paradigm in the US.
"I’m excited to work with such a young and talented songwriter," Paradigm Talent Agency’s Rob Zifarelli said.
"Once I heard Missing You I needed to be involved."
"I'm super excited to be signing with Paradigm," added Budjerah. "It's really crazy to see people overseas connecting with my music and I can't wait to see what place we'll end up at."

In addition to the signing news, Budjerah has also announced that his debut self-titled EP will be out on Friday 26 March via Warner Music, with his Matt Corby-produced new single, Higher, out today.
“In my music, I think of how I'm going to use my voice as an instrument before the melody and anything else," he shared.
"Matt is classically trained, so he pushed me vocally. We both really like the real, organic sounds of instruments."
