Three months after her controversial conservatorship ended, Britney Spears is working on a tell-all memoir.

As People reports, the singer has inked a $US15 million “landmark deal” with publishing house Simon & Schuster.

Spears signed with Simon & Schuster following a bidding war, with an insider stating “the deal is one of the biggest of all time, behind the Obamas”.

Last November, her petition to end her 14-year conservatorship, which saw guardians including her father, Jamie, oversee her life, affairs and finances, was successful with a judge terminating the arrangement in Los Angeles.

Britney Spears hasn’t held back on social media in recent months in regard to her family, not only taking aim at her father, but mother Lynne and sister Jamie Lynn too.

It’s expected the new book will go into great depth around her life, career and family.
