Brissy Upstart UV Boi Drops New Single & National Tour Dates

Ascendant Queensland-based artist UV Boi فوق بنفسجي has spent much of the past year garnering a solid reputation for his engaging, energetic live shows, and now he's planning a whole new stretch of shows to bring the revelry to Aussie punters around the country.

Even better, the Thank U scribe is complementing the announcement of his impending national sojourn with the unveiling of brand new single LUV, featuring fellow Brisbane artist Fionn Richards and Brooklyn duo Brasstracks. The track comes in the wake of successful earlier releases such as Ghost and his Strapped In The Durags mix (as heard on triple j's Mix Up Exclusives program), and provides yet more justification for the swiftness with which UV Boi's renown is blowing up.

UV Boi's wider national tour includes his forthcoming appearance at Splendour In The Grass this July, but kicks off almost a full month prior to that performance with a gig at Cats, in Adelaide, on Friday, 26 June. Joined by a rotating cast of supports that includes Cln, Howl, Casper Zazz, Floria, Eli, Mighty Morfin, Ventures, Zuri Akoko, Kailo, Luude and Grapes UV Boi will take his road show to stages in Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Sydney and Perth, where he brings the celebrations to a close at Jimmy's Den on Friday, 7 August.
