Brisbane-bred musician Alistar Richardson — best known as the frontman of venerated local outfit The Cairos — has been announced, under his solo moniker Zefereli, as the newest signing to acclaimed Aussie bookers the 123 Agency.
Richardson has spent his solo time this year sharpening his self-sufficiency, having taken to the stage in support of the likes of I Know Leopard, San Cisco and Gang Of Youths in recent memory, all the while pulling together his debut EP, Withdrawals, which made its first appearance on Zefereli's SoundCloud page about a month ago. Zefereli's signing with the 123 Agency marks the next step in the muso asserting himself as a prospect to watch away from his Cairos commitments; with the year almost at its end, we can expect to hear and see more of Zefereli's solo pursuits in 2016 and beyond.
