Brissie's Columbus Announce East Coast Album Tour & Drop New Single

Two great things!

More Columbus Columbus Profile

Brisbane band Columbus have announced that they're hitting the road for an east coast tour in support of their forthcoming album, A Hot Take On Heartbreak.

The boys will be stopping off at Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane this June, bringing fellow Brisbanites Sweater Curse along for the ride.

The trio have unveiled a brand new single, Care At All, in anticipation of the album release on 25 May.

"Care At All is lyrically one of the darker songs on the record, but instrumentally it has a surfy-grunge feel. I wrote the song about what it feels like to let down someone you love, and neglect what's really important to you," vocalist Alex Moses said.

"I was drinking a mix of apple juice and whiskey in the studio while tracking vocals, which felt appropriate as the song flirts with the themes of alcoholism."

Tickets to Columbus' A Hot Take On Heartbreak release tour are on sale now; for more information, head to theGuide.
