Billboard's Critics' Picks for Best Album Of 2016 features a slew of familiar heavyweight names including Beyonce, David Bowie and Frank Ocean.
But in what is a hugely-impressive feat, those names are joined by emerging Brisbane outfit The Goon Sax on the list.
As noted by ABC, the trio's debut album Up To Anything came in at #49, with Billboard writing, "The Goon Sax’s debut LP captures the rush of apathy and romantic emotion present in pre-adult life".
The chart follows reports that The Goon Sax are planning a move to Berlin next year as well as release a new LP.
