The Beach Boys founder Brian Wilson today releases his latest solo album No Pier Pressure, a set that includes collars with the likes of Zooey Deschanel, M Ward, fun.'s Nate Ruess and Don Was.

In an exclusive behind-the-scenes look into the recording of the album Wilson has revealed that the process of making No Pier Pressure was a way to get rid of bad feelings in his life, including those relating to his legendary band.

The making of video (below) includes interviews with producer Was and fellow Beach Boy Al Jardine as well as Wilson's daughter Daria.
