WA hardcore legends Break Even have announced a new zine and accompanying Perth release party for it next month.

The Young & Bright zine, appropriately titled after the band’s latest single, will feature a collection of fan-submitted photography, literature, paintings, typography, prints and more.

After reuniting in 2014, the band hit the road in February this year on their I’d Rather Be Gigging tour as a way to fund a new album, and the announcement of several international dates as well as the new zine confirms they’re back in full swing.

Before Break Even kick off to Europe and the UK, they play a farewell gig and zine launch show at Amplifier Bar on Saturday 1 August and, if you can believe it, they are getting doors opened early so they can drink with fans, all while footing the bill.

The best zine submissions will also be on display at Amplifier on the night.
