Sony Music Entertainment Australia has announced the signing of burgeoning local artist Brad Cox on an exclusive worldwide recording deal.

The Jindabyne country songwriter joins Sony after winning the 2018 Toyota Star Maker title and already has two Golden Guitar nominations to his name.

To date, Cox has racked up over 3.5 million combined streams globally.

On joining the Sony team, Cox said, “I've worked so hard on my career over many years from the ground up, and for me it's extremely humbling to know that Sony Music also has the same belief in my music that I do.

"I'm really excited to be working closely with Denis and the team to take this to the next level locally and internationally.” 

Cox is currently working on his second studio album to be released via Sony in early 2020. Tracks from the record are expected to be released before the end of this year.
