Boy GeorgeIt has been a very long time since Boy George released some original material - 18 years to be exact. But the flamboyant musician will finally dish out a collection of new songs this October.
The English singer-songwriter will unveil This Is What I Do internationally on Monday 28 October through Kobalt Label Services. No Aussie release date has been confirmed at this stage but we're assuming we'll get the record around the same time.
The album was written by the Culture Club frontman along with long-time collaborators John Themis, Kevan Frost and Richie Stevens. It will feature appearances from the likes of DJ Yoda, Kitty Durham, Ally McErlaine, MC Spee and Nizar Al Issa. Here's the tracklisting:
1. King of Everything
2. Bigger Than War
3. Live Your Life
4. My God
5. It's Easy
6. Death of Samantha
7. Any Road
8. My Star
9. Love and Danger
10. Nice and Slow
11. Play Me
12. Feel the Vibration
Kobalt Label Services, which formed in 2012, were behind the international release of the chart-topping and favourite of us here at theMusic, Push The Sky Away by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.
Here's a bit of vintage Boy George and his Culture Club pals, just cause we can...
