Bone Thugs-n-Harmony rapper Krayzie Bone — aka Anthony Henderson —is currently in hospital, “fighting for his life” the rap group’s manager Bobby Dee confirmed to the LA Times.

No other information was given regarding the status of his health. However, the worrying news comes following whispers spreading that the hip-hop star had checked himself into hospital in LA on Friday after he began coughing up large amounts of blood.

Henderson suffers from a condition called sarcoidosis — a rare condition that causes small patches of swollen tissue, called granulomas, to develop in the organs of the body (as per NHS).

TMZ reported that a CT scan showed that the rapper was suffering from a bleeding artery in one of his lungs, leading doctors to operate — though it failed to stop the bleeding.

Henderson has since been placed in an induced coma and will need to undergo a second procedure to deal with the internal bleeding. At this time, his family members are reportedly the only ones allowed to visit him. As of Sunday (Sept 23), KB is said to be on a breathing machine and sedated, as per AllHipHop.

Bandmate Bizzy Bone took to his Instagram Stories amid the harrowing news with a simple message: “Pray 4 Kray.” He added, “Can’t sleep. Sometimes you just gotta pray.”
