It’s official: the iconic Boiler Room concert series is heading to Brisbane (Meanjin) in 2024.
That’s according to an official page on the UK institution’s website, where a session is slated to go down on Friday September 13. The event itself has not yet been formally announced, so we’re not too sure which venue it’ll happen in, or who we can expect to see take the stage. You can, however, head here to sign up for a mailing list to get all the info as soon as it drops.
For now, Boiler Room have simply acknowledged the countless cries from rave-starved Queenslanders: “Brisbane, we see you!”
Meanwhile, the crew has a few other Australian events on the itinerary for 2024, starting with back-to-back sessions in Melbourne (Naarm) on Saturday October 26 and Sunday 27. There’s also a session in Sydney (Eora) lined up for Saturday December 7. All three events come as part of Boiler Room’s 2024 World Tour, with performing artists yet to be confirmed.
Boiler Room’s last Australian events took place in Sydney last December, with two shows featuring the likes of DJ Seinfeld, Red Rey, rRoxymore, Simon Caldwell and Soju Gang. Staying true to the brand’s ethos, all of the sets from those shows were filmed and can be streamed here.
