BMG Australia Unveils Multiple Staff Promotions

"I’m delighted to announce these much-deserved promotions."

In an effort to strengthen its Australian recorded music operations, BMG Australia has today announced that Craig Redfearn has been promoted to Director of Marketing, while Jodie Feld has been moved up to A&R Manager.

During his time at BMG Australia, Redfearn has already directed campaigns for artists such as Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, A Perfect Circle and more, and Feld has spent the past three year’s predominantly working across the company’s publishing roster, which includes the likes of Peking Duk, Alison Wonderland, What So Not and more.

Both Redfearn and Feld will report to Managing Director Heath Johns.

“We have rapidly established BMG Australia as a premier home for Australian recording artists seeking fairer deals and world class creative services,” Johns said.

“Craig and Jodie have both played a key role in this mission and I’m delighted to announce these much-deserved promotions as BMG continues to take Australian music to the world.”

The staff shakeup follows a big few months for the company, who signed Dune Rats and 2019 Splendour In The Grass act Dope Lemon ahead of their respectively releases this year.

BMG Australia will continue to focus on increasing its records business in the coming months.
