BluesfestThe Bluesfest sideshows excitement is well underway, with a number of extra shows confirmed for some of the festival's biggest acts.
Soulful crooner Aaron Neville will team up with Dr John & The Nite Trippers for three performances in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth, while the multi-faceted Steve Earle & The Dukes will play four extra shows in April - two in QLD and one in Sydney, then Melbourne. Earle and co will be joined by our own country superstar Kasey Chambers for the shows.
Self-proclaimed "hippie with a soul" Allen Stone has also announced extra dates while he's here for Bluesfest, which will see him perform along the east coast. The legendary Jimmie Vaughan will headline two of his own performances next April, bringing roots/rock fused singer Nikki Hill along with him as a special guest.
And while they haven't been confirmed for Bluesfest as yet, it appears KC and The Sunshine Band may well be on the next artist announcement for the festival with three April shows announced for the funky ensemble through the Bluesfest Touring company.
