Tickets are expected to sell out in the coming weeks.
Tom Morello in Sydney, 2018 (Josh Groom)
With April quickly approaching, Bluesfest has today completed its 2025 line-up with the addition of two more artists.
Guitar icon Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine and Audioslave fame, and Indonesian blues-rock powerhouse Electric Cadillac, are the latest to join the festival, set to take place from Thursday, 17 April, to Sunday, 20 April at Byron Events Farm Tyagarah.
Morello, who also performs with supergroup Prophets Of Rage and toured with Bruce Springsteen’s E-Street Band for six years (including during a trip to Aus), dropped solo track Soldier In The Army Of Love last year and is working on a new album.
Today’s announcement adds to an already stacked list, with Chaka Khan, Toto and Christopher Cross signing on last month after the likes of Crowded House, Gary Clark Jr, Allison Russell and more were confirmed last year.
Organisers have also revealed today that tickets are over 90% sold with the remaining allocation expected to sell out within weeks.

Originally expected to be the last Bluesfest, the response to this year’s event saw Festival Director Peter Noble backflip on that decision in December, stating in an interview: “We’re probably the best-selling festival in Australia at the moment. We’ve been shown that people care about events and culture.”
The blues and roots festival, which kicked off in 1990, has become world-renowned since its inception, frequently garnering acclaim locally and internationally, including nominations and wins at the NSW Tourism Awards, the Helpmann Awards, the Pollstar Awards and more.
