The free festival returns this May.
After announcing the likes of Canned Heat, Eric Bibb and more last year, Blues On Broadbeach has confirmed a slew of new name’s for this year’s festival, led by legendary act The Gipsy Kings.
The eclectic European group will play an exclusive ticketed show during the free festival, which will run from May 16-19 in Broadbeach.
Also gracing the second artist announcement is Canadian muso Bahamas, Texan blues rock maestro Charley Crockett, acclaimed US artist Cedric Burnside, Queensland locals Kevin Borich Express and stacks more, brining the total acts to 70.
“I think what is so special about this year’s event is the number of international artists performing at the festival,” Festival Director Mark Duckworth said.
“In 2019 we have artists from France, Canada UK, NZ, USA, and of course an explosion of home-grown talent spreading the message of Blues on Broadbeach around the globe.”
