The UK's Bloc Party make the week's highest debut in the ARIA Albums chart as their latest release Four entered at number three.

Released through independent label Co-Operative (and distributed via Universal), Four landed ahead of new major label releases from Ricki-Lee (in at seven with Fear And Freedom), Owl City (at 29 with The Midsummer Station) and Yellowcard (at 30 with Southern Air).

The band recently headlined the Splendour In The Grass festival, proving they still have a large following here. The album came in at number two on the Digital Albums chart and also entered the UK Albums chart at three.

The week's other debuts: Elvis Presley's Elvis By Request at four; The Darkness' Hot Cakes at 15; Hand Of Mercy's Last Lights at 44; Yeasayer's Fragrant World at 47; Tim Hart's Milling The Wind at 48 and Ry Cooder's Election Special at 49.

The soundtrack to The Sapphires remained number one on the Albums Chart while Birdy's self-titled became the top-selling digital album. Birdy's cover of Skinny Love was the week's highest debut in the singles chart, coming in at four,
