In a headline that sounds straight out of the pages of our local section, English indie rockers Bloc Party have announced an intimate album launch show in Sydney, now that they're rested up after their Falls Festival performances over the new year.

With two headline shows already on the horizon — one in Melbourne tonight and one in Sydney on Thursday, 7 January — the quartet have added an exclusive show at Sydney's Oxford Art Factory on Friday, 8 January to preview songs off their upcoming fifth record, Hymns.

With double passes available only by entering a competition here, diehards will get to hear more brand new material, along with new singles The Love Within and The Good News, off the forthcoming release.
