Local hip hop veterans Bliss N Eso lead the handful of music names announced for next year's Summernats event.

The rap crew will be part of the entertainment at  the popular car festival, alongside fellow hip hop artist Illy and Aussie pub rock stalwarts The Radiators.

The Radiators will perform on the event's first day (Thursday 1 January), with Bliss N Eso to play the following day and Illy on the third. Summernats is held from Thursday 1 to Sunday 4 January at Canberra's Exhibition Park.
