Blink-182 have postponed tour dates in Glasgow, Dublin and Belfast as drummer Travis Barker heads home for an “urgent family matter”.

“Due to an urgent family matter, Travis has had to return home to the States,” the band wrote on Twitter yesterday (1 September). “The Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin shows are being postponed. More information in regards to his return to Europe and rescheduled dates will be provided as soon as available.”

The band haven’t provided more information on the postponed dates yet. Blink-182 were due to perform in Glasgow, Scotland on 1 and 2 September, followed by a Belfast date on 4 September.

Barker and his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, are expecting their first child together. In June, Kardashian attended the band’s concert at BMO Stadium in LA and surprised Barker with her pregnancy announcement referencing the blink-182 hit single, All The Small Things.

Kardashian was spotted in the crowd holding up a “Travis, I’m Pregnant” sign. The band not only put the spotlight on Kardashian, but they also turned on the house lights so Mark Hoppus could step off from the stage and kiss her on the cheek, while Barker ran down, hugged his wife and kissed her.

Kardashian is a mother to three children with her ex, Scott Disick, while Barker is also a father of three with ex-wife Shanna Moakler. Kardashian and Barker married in May 2022.

Stereogum reports that Kardashian and Barker have televised their journey to have a baby over the last few years on the Hulu reality TV series The Kardashians. Most recently, Kardashian said she was “done” with trying IVF.

“We are officially done with IVF,” Kardashian shared in an episode last month (per Page Six). “We would love a baby more than anything, but I just really believe in what God has in store for us. If that’s a baby, then I believe that it will happen.”

A few weeks after revealing her pregnancy, the couple shared that they’re having a boy.

Earlier this year, blink-182 added a fifth and final Melbourne date to their upcoming Australian tour – you can check out all the dates on their whopping 15-date run here. The legendary US pop-punk outfit will land on our shores in February 2024 with support act Rise Against.
