"Ultimately, the bands make up that decision later in the process which, to be honest, can be really challenging..."
A new blink-182 album (or EP?) has been teased by the band for months now, but a release date is still yet to be announced. Unfortunately for fans, producer John Feldmann can't tell them either.
While Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker and Matt Skiba have all confirmed that the trio are working on new music, it's currently unclear just when they'll release it.
Appearing on a new episode of The Green Room with Neil Griffiths podcast in support of Goldfinger's new album, Never Look Back, Feldmann touched on the new blink music.
"It's funny, I would consider Travis as, like, my best friend but yet I don't have an answer," Feldmann told host Neil Griffiths.
"I just don't have an answer. I don't know if it's gonna be an EP or an album. I don't fucking know."

The new music will be blink's third project with Feldmann, who first worked with the San Diego-founded outfit on 2016 album, California (the first record without Tom Delonge and the first with Skiba), which was nominated for a Grammy, followed by NINE, released in September last year.
"That's the great thing... when I work with other bands, obviously my role is to help, kind of, put songs together and maybe sometimes write, sometimes mix," Feldmann continued.
"But I don't know when the fuck things come out or what's gonna make it on the album.
"Ultimately, the bands make up that decision later in the process which, to be honest, can be really challenging especially when you're making albums with people and I get my heart attached to certain songs and then to know that sometimes they don't even ever come out. You're like, 'Fuck!'"
