Melbourne/Naarm based rapper and Butchulla man Birdz has announced he's heading out on a nationwide tour next April, in celebration of his upcoming second album Legacy - due out19 November.
"Man, after only playing a handful of shows over the past two years, I’m beyond excited to finally announce that we hitting the road at the top of 2022," the artist wrote online. "Mad love to the team for working like mad to put this together."
Birdz made huge waves in the Aus music scene earlier this month, dropping the massive collab Legacy Pt 2 with Missy Higgins.
“I want to empower my son to feel confident in who he is and represent where he’s from," he said of the importance of the track. "I feel that it’s my responsibility to take the knowledge and guidance my father gave me and pass it on to my son so he can take it all to the next level."
