The alternative rock four-piece Birds Are Spies have just announced a mini tour slated for this October to promote their upcoming single Spin, which is to be officially released on all streaming platforms on September 27th.
The tour consists of two dates. The band will be performing on October 4th at Nighthawks Bar in Melbourne, joined by indie rock outfit PeachFuzz and noise pop band Frost Bite. Birds Are Spies will then close their mini tour on October 11th at Lowlife Basement Bar in Adelaide, playing with alt rock five-piece Loopole and indie emo trio TOWNHOUSE.
Birds Are Spies consists of members Gracie Northam on vocals, Lily Appelt on bass, Lachie Durrans on drums, and Finn Larcombe on guitar. The band have seen success playing local gigs in Adelaide off the back of their 2021 EP Big Nothing, and ensuing singles Loose Change and Haze in the following years.
Spin, recorded at Twin Earth in the western suburbs of Adelaide and mixed by their very own Finn Larcombe, will mark their first musical release of 2024.
