Billy Ray Cyrus Seemingly Engaged To Aussie Artist Firerose

Billy Ray Cyrus is seemingly engaged to Australian singer, Firerose.

The couple sent the internet into a frenzy on 13 September when Firerose made an Instagram post with the caption, "taking in the moment..." and wearing what looks like an engagement ring. However, she has now shared another post with the Achy Breaky Heart singer, showing off a giant diamond ring. No "we're engaged" here - the post is captioned "Happy Autumn."

Besides these photos that show the couple is serious, they keep their relationship private.

Last year, they worked together on a song called New Day and started frequently hanging out together. The social media posts have ramped up this year since Firerose celebrated Cyrus' 61st birthday in August. "The world is a better place with you in it. Happy Birthday, Billy," she wrote.

Firerose was raised in a family of symphony musicians. She graduated from the Newtown School For The Performing Arts before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music. Her biggest musical inspirations are Alani Morissette and Aussie icons Sia, Powderfinger, and Silverchair.

"Billy Ray's been a phenomenal supporter of my music," she said in an August Live With Kelly & Ryan interview.

"He's just really believed in me and continued to tell me to pursue my dreams no matter what and not give up. The music industry is not easy, but he's been just a really, really incredible support."

The snaps of Firerose wearing the ring appeared six months after Billy Ray's marriage with Tish Cyrus, his wife of 30 years, publicly ended. However, they had privately separated years beforehand. Tish Cyrus filed for divorce in April this year, citing "irreconcilable differences."

Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus raised five children together, including Miley, Braison, and Noah. Brandi and Trace are from Tish's previous marriage.
