"This is the greatest possible compliment I could ever receive!! I couldn’t be more touched and flattered."
A British vocal teacher has been left "gobsmacked" after superstar Billie Eilish duetted with his TikTok teaching students how to sing her acclaimed song Listen Before I Go.
Sheridan Coldstream, a Birmingham resident, shared a video on TikTok, teaching his students how to sing along to Eilish's Listen Before I Go. He demonstrated using his talented vocal ability how he wanted students to attack the song differently from Eilish's original recording.
Eilish, being the perfect student, did exactly as he said, following along with his piano accompaniment. She then shared the video to her 45.5 million followers on TikTok. The video has already reached 33.4 million views and Coldstream has commented on the video expressing his gratitude.
"This is the greatest possible compliment I could ever receive!! I couldn’t be more touched and flattered ❤️I adore this song and you! Thank you 🥰"

“There’s a bit in the song where she normally goes down,” said the 58-year-old, who runs Total Vocal at his studio. “I suggested that some singers may want to take it higher and she did exactly that, so I was gobsmacked." Coldstream told BBC News.
Eilish attempted the duet while completing the Asian leg of her world tour celebrating the release of her sophomore album Happier Than Ever. The tour will finish up in Japan on the 26th of August, before she sets her sights on Australia, with a massive arena tour that will begin September the 13th in Sydney.
On her Happier Than Ever, The World Tour, Eilish has continued her work with sustainability partner REVERB, with the fan-facing Billie Eilish Action Village at each show. Climate change and climate justice has been a focus, hosting and supporting local and global environmental organisations as well as a comprehensive program via REVERB’s Music Climate Revolution campaign. In addition to reducing the tour’s environmental footprint, the initiative has supported and will continue to support projects that directly and measurably eliminate greenhouse gases. These collective efforts have made the tour Climate Positive; eliminating significantly more emissions than the tour creates. All tickets include a $1 donation to REVERB.
