More Billie Eilish More Billie Eilish

Just over a month until Billie Eilish returns to Australia and the US megastar has confirmed two supports for the run.

Local legend Sampa The Great has been confirmed for seven of the dates, while American pop muso Dora Jar, who has previously supported Eilish, will play five of the shows.

Added to that, new tickets have been released for all previously sold-out shows.

It’s been a big few weeks for Sampa The Great, whose track Energy was recently included in Barack Obama’s Summer Playlist for 2022.

Today’s tour news follows a surprise drop from the Eilish last week, who revealed two new songs, TV and The 30th, under the banner Guitar Songs.

The first new music from Eilish since her Grammy-nominated 2021 album Happier Than Ever, both songs are, as the title suggests, guitar-based compositions, with intimate vocals, accompanied by gentle acoustic guitar work.

Eilish provided a statement with the release, explaining what inspired the sudden release, which comes only a month after TV made its live debut at a Manchester concert

“Finneas and I really wanted these to be yours as soon as possible. So here they are!!” she said.

“Performing TV on tour was such a highlight for us too, so we took the audio from the first night we played it in Manchester and put it in the song. I get shivers every time I hear it. Hope you love the songs and thank you for letting us share our music with you."
