Some not-so-excellent news.

It’s going to be a little longer before Aussie fans can catch the Wyld Stallyns back in action, with Bill & Ted Face The Music’s local release being delayed slightly.

The news arrives just over a week after the final trailer for the upcoming Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter flick dropped, with its cinematic release Down Under pushed from Thursday 27 August until Thursday 10 September.

Due COVID restrictions around the globe, the film’s US release will see it open in select cinemas alongside on-demand from September 1, before opening in Australia the following week.

The long-awaited follow-up to 1991’s Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, Face The Music will feature Reeves and Winter returning to their iconic roles, alongside Kristen Schaal, Jillian Bell, Australia’s own Samara Weaving and more.
