The lauded UK comedian will be back in the antipodes from October-December
Beloved British comedian Bill Bailey will return to Australian shores in October through December this year to perform a local run of his acclaimed new show, Larks In Transit.
It's been two decades since Bailey first took to Aussie stages, and he's taking the opportunity to commemorate the occasion with typically eclectic ruminations on the past 20 years on the road as a travelling comedian.
The celebrated funnyman will get the ball rolling in New Zealand, where he'll tackle a handful of shows in Christchurch (Horncastle Arena, 20 October), Invercargill (Civic Theatre, 21 October), Dunedin (Regent Theatre, 22 October), Wellington (Michael Fowler Centre, 24 October) and Auckland (ASB Theatre, 26 October) before making the jaunt to Oz.
His extensive local sojourn gets under way in the north end, kicking off at Darwin's Entertainment Centre (30 October) and rolling through Cairns, Townsville, Gold Coast, Adelaide, Launceston, Hobart, Geelong, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong and Canberra, where he wraps up at the Royal Theatre on 8 December.
