Is it September yet?
After rolling out an epic first artist line-up last month, BIGSOUND has today confirmed a number of keynote speakers alongside its official party program.
The four must-attend keynotes announced include Best Coast’s Bethany Cosentino, Revenge Of The She-Punks author Vivien Goldman, Frontier Touring’s Sahara Herald and Australian artist Mojo Juju.
As well as fronting California indie rock/pop duo Best Coast, Cosentino is frequently speaking out against sexism and sexual assault, and has been vocal about her journey to sobriety and struggle with insomnia.
Goldman has established herself as a music industry legend over the years, performing in ‘80s new wave duo Chantage, working as Bob Marley’s first publicist, writing for NME, hosting pirate radio and more.
Herald has worked alongside the likes of Paul Kelly, Shawn Mendes, Midnight Oil, Sam Smith and more as Frontier Touring’s Tour Director, and previously spent 18 years as Big Day Out’s National Event Co-ordinator, while Mojo Juju gives a keynote following the release of her award-winning 2018 album Native Tongue.
