Now just days out from the 2019 conference, BIGSOUND executive programmer Maggie Collins joins a special edition of The Green Room with Neil Griffiths podcast to preview what's in store.
Collins takes host Neil Griffiths through all of the new additions to BIGSOUND this year, including a new home and members joining the team, as well as her tips on the must-see gigs and conferences.
In this episode, Collins also discusses arguably the artist heading to Brisbane next week with the most momentum, Tones & I, who has not only topped the ARIA Singles chart for four weeks straight with Dance Monkey, but has also peaked at #1 in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
"It says a lot about how much BIGSOUND can help an artist even when they're at a level like Tones & I. That's how important this event is," Collins told Griffiths.
"I'm so shocked and excited that we're gonna get her playing at BIGSOUND. That's gonna be one hell of a highlight, for sure.
