It might not be the overruling powerhouse of the Australian festival scene at present but for as long as it is around Big Day Out will always have a special kind of buzz surrounding it.
For over 20 years music lovers have flocked through its gates and soaked up the myriad of incredible bands it has brought us as well as the general festivities that have surrounded the iconic Australian summer event.
Tonight, they announce the line-up for the 2014 festival. We're so excited about it that we've decided to lay down a little of what we know alongside a little guesswork and maybe a dash of wishful thinking…

“I was hoping for one 'White Whale', managed to get two and ended up with three,” he said.
Yesterday a major daily newspaper allegedly leaked the headliners of the event; the three white whales that West had discussed with us a couple of weeks ago. Big Day Out CEO Adam Zammit was unimpressed to say the least.

Much as we'd love to sit around and speculate about how will be on the bill, we're just going to wait a few hours and find out for ourselves.
