Big Day Out cancels second Sydney show

Big Day Out organisers have merged the planned events in Sydney next year (27th January & 26th January) into one event on Australia Day. Organisers have stated that “Perhaps we were a bit ambitious expanding to two dates in Sydney for this year’s Big Day Out,” citing poor ticket sales as the reason for the merge of the two events.

Ticketholders for the event the 27th of January can have their tickets exchanged for either a ticket to the first Sydney event, or any other Big Day Out show around the country. Alternatively, they can simply seek out a refund for their ticket.
