One of Victoria’s favourite multi-day music festivals, Beyond The Valley, is returning over the upcoming New Year’s period (27 December 2024-1 January 2025), but the longer punters await the highly-anticipated line-up drop, the more the rumour mill heats up.

And the rumours have certainly picked up pace. One look at this Reddit link, an Instagram post from popular account Melbourne Lines, and two TikTok videos show that Beyond The Valley is very much in the conversation, and people won’t give up on guessing who’s on the line-up until it officially drops.

A speculative poster floating around online indicates that Dom Dolla may return to headline the festival. Other names that have been thrown around include Troye Sivan and Glass Animals.

Both of those acts are unlikely as they’re touring Australia before the festival takes place, whereas Dom Dolla’s Australian tour wraps up on 21 December, and he has no other dates booked after his final sold-out date at Brisbane’s Riverstage. He would fit in perfectly if he decides to remain in Australia over the Christmas and New Year period.

Marlon Hoffstadt is also heavily rumoured to appear at the forthcoming festival, as well as X Club and Swim, jamesjamesjames, and DJ Boring.

Other names on the rumour mill include Baby Keem, Cosmo’s Midnight, FISHER, Four Tet, Cub Sport, Forest Claudette, Kita Alexander, Laurel, Thelma Plum, Winston Surfshirt, and more.
