Beyond The Valley 2024 Rollout Gets Exciting New Updates

The lineup for this year’s Beyond The Valley is getting closer and closer to being announced, with news expected to arrive any day now. In the meantime, organisers have shared a series of exciting QOL updates for this year’s edition.

To start off, presale registrations are officially open – you can head here to sign up to the festival’s mailing list, where the first links to secure early tickets will be sent out. We’re not sure yet when tickets will go onsale, though – according to a press release, “more information about presale will be revealed once the lineup is announced”.

In addition to the festival’s own presale, Telstra Plus customers will have an additional chance to score tickets to Beyond The Valley 2024, with the company being named an official presale partner.

On top of that, car passes will be made available during presales for the first time in Beyond The Valley’s history. To unlock them, early buyers will need to purchase three or more tickets for three- or four-day entry. To that end, another new first for the festival is the option to purchase single-day tickets for December 29, 30 and 31.

Also announced today were a series of pop-up happenings set to be held around the festival grounds, including live podcast recordings at The Sanctuary, a drag bingo event hosted by POOF DOOF, and a makeshift pool house called the Beach Club. There will also be two hidden party joints: the Red Bull Unforeseen installation and the returning Smirnoff Schmall Klub.

This year’s edition of Beyond The Valley will run from Saturday December 28 to Wednesday January 1, being held at the idyllic Barunah Plains farm in Hesse.

A teaser for the lineup was shared at the end of July, paying tribute to classic films like Pleasantville and The Wizard Of Oz. A few hints for the lineup itself were sprinkled throughout the video – it was soundtracked by UK producer Sammy Virji, for example, and featured imagery name-dropping Joy Anonymous and Teenage Dads.

Last year’s Beyond The Valley was incredibly successful, with 35,000 tickets being sold in less than a week (and camping sold out almost immediately). Organisers boasted that the festival saw “record-breaking sales” with its lineup, which featured the likes of RÜFÜS DU SOL, Peggy Gou, Central Cee, FERG and Destroy Lonely.

Earlier this year, Beyond The Valley was named one of the best music festivals in the world, becoming the only Australian event to make DJ Mag’s prestigious Top 100 Festivals list.
