First it was rescheduled and now, just days before it was set to begin, the forthcoming tour featuring the huge double-whammy of Bel Biv Devoe and Ginuwine has been cancelled altogether.

Promoters Illusive and The Frontier Tour Co. issued a press release this afternoon confirming that the shows, which they say were almost sold out, have been cancelled at the last minute. They would not divulge the reasons for the cancellation, stipulating that they were unable to do so for legal reasons.

“Illusive and The Frontier Touring Co. have spent the past 72 hours desperately trying to resolve the issue to no avail,” the statement goes on to say.

The two acts were initially set to tour Australia in May of this year, but after the impromptu reunion of New Edition – the act that Bell Biv Devoe formed from the ashes of – the dates had to be rescheduled.
