Being As An Ocean release second song from new album

US favourites Being As An Ocean have again delved into some Hebrew law with their new song, 'Sleeping Sicarii'.

US favourites Being As An Ocean have again delved into some Hebrew law with their new song, 'Sleeping Sicarii'.

The Sicarii, often referred to as "dagger-men" or "dagger-wielders", is reference to splinter group of the Jewish faith who would attack and kill Roman, or Roman sympathisers. Yikes. This isn't the first time the band have applied religious connotations, definitely, and namely before with the title of their debut album, 'Dear G-d'.

The band's self-titled record will hit shelves on June 30th, through InVogue Records, almost a year on from the release of their very successful sophomore album, 'How We Both Wondrously Perish'. You can stream the new track below, as well as the album's first single, 'Little Richie', here.
